Animated video with infographics
Infographics are a powerful way to convey complex messages in a simple and visual way. This is exactly what we chose to do when creating an animated video for large food companies. The task was to explain how they can achieve big savings on energy consumption with a relatively small investment.
Simple communication of complex messages
We chose to use infographics as the primary method in the video because it allows us to convey complex messages in a simple and visual way. Infographics make it easier for the audience to understand the message as they can display data and information in a clear way.
Basically, the message in this project was simple – big savings and small investment, but how do we communicate the technicalities behind the energy recovery? Using infographics as a method, we were able to communicate a complicated topic in a simple way.
To create the optimal graphic identity, we took the visual universe of the 50s as our starting point.
This approach gave the video a modern and classic feel at the same time. The use of infographics made it possible to show the technical details and energy savings data in an easy-to-understand way.
It’s an ideal way to visualize the complex, which is why infographics are used in a variety of contexts from business to education.
We also chose to include infographics in the video to allow the audience to visualize the savings they can achieve by investing in environmentally friendly energy sources. This made it easier for them to see potential gains and helped increase their motivation to take the plunge and invest in environmentally friendly energy sources.
This project is a great example of how infographics can be used to visualize information and make it easier for audiences to understand (and react to) complex messages.

3 mnemonics for working with infographics
Target audience: It’s important to have a clear understanding of who our target audience is before we start creating an infographic. This provides a better understanding of how to convey the message and what elements to include in the infographic to make it most effective for the specific target audience.
Data: It’s important to have solid and reliable data before we start creating an infographic. This ensures that the infographic is accurate and can convey the message correctly. It’s also important to present the data in a clear and concise way so that it’s easy for the target audience to understand and respond.
Design: Design is important to make the infographic visually appealing and easy to understand. It’s important to strike a balance between design and functionality so that the infographic is easy to read and understand, while also being visually appealing. It’s also important to choose the right colors, fonts and visual elements to make the infographic as effective as possible.
